Baking with Kids - Giveaway

I was raised in a home where mum was a great cook. She was a baker and her mum was a baker. So , it's only natural that I was taught from a young age to cook. Kind of handy when you have children who have dietary challenges such as food allergies and intolerances. My kids have picked up on my love for food. Whenever I come up withan allergy friendly new recipe, they love it. They are my go to food critics. It's only natural that they also love to get in the kitchen.

We had so much fun these past school holidays. I have 3 wonderful new products to tell you about, thanks to Brad at Kitchenware Direct. I'm also so excited to announce our new giveaway.... so read on and then enter our Baking Giveaway..... Details at bottom of post

1. Progressive Collapsible Cupcake and Cake Carrier

This is so cool, you'll love it. This is a cupcake and cake carrier with a difference. I do alot of baking and find myself searching for a vessel to transport my cakes and muffins. I hadn't found a decent one until this.
The carrier has 2 tiered trays holding upto 24 cupcakes. The trays snap into the bottom tray ensuring  they don't move around. The actual cupcake holders are also indented so that the cupcakes can easily be removed. The lid expands to fit over the double tier and then clips securely onto the bottom of the tray.
When you want to transport a larger cake, simple, just remove the trays . The base even has a cake cutting guide. The lid collapses to half of its original height, saving you storage space in the kitchen, something we all need. A pure stroke of genius. More Info

Blueberry cupcakes for 24 hungry school buddies

2. Fiesta Base Mixing Bowl 3L in Lime

I absolutely love this bowl. It looks gorgeous and it's really functional. I was really surprised by how much easier it was to use than my other bowls.
Firstly, it features a non slip base.... who would have thought of a non slip base? What a great idea. The base makes it really stable when you are stirring or whisking ingredients together. This is perfect when kids are helping you in the kitchen. We didn't have any spills, an added bonus when it comes to cleaning up.
The next feature, I love is the handle. This makes it easier to really get in there when you're whisking or folding in ingredients. It also makes it easier for little hands to use.
Best of all, its got a pouring spout! I loved this, perfect for pouring pikelets into the pan or making cupcakes and muffins. (again cutting down on the cleaning of messy drips).
It's contemporay look is modern and will look really good in any kitchen, It is really functional and you can tell that alot of thought went into its design.
I love the freshness of the lime,. It also comes in 3 other beautiful colours - Purple, Pink and Blue. It also comes in a smaller size 1.5 Litre. More Info
